Album Release Concert "Songs From The Well"
The Double E Performance Center next to the Essex Cinema in Essex Jct. ,VT
9pm
TICKETS at: songsfromthewell.eventbrite.com
Nine of Vermont’s most incredible musicians wrote songs for beloved and sultry singer Miriam Bernardo to sing on her first solo album, "Songs From The Well".
The album was completely crowd funded and the songs were recorded with a kick ass band, at 5 different studios and produced by Producer Peg Tassey and is being release on Flower Fields Records.
On October 11th, we celebrate the creation of this music and all of the people involved with a mini-festival of musicians. Many of the songwriters will open the show with a 2 song set each to showcase their beautiful writing, then Miriam will take the stage with her full band to play the album with the songs they gave her, from beginning to end. Some very special guests will be joining her on stage!
*Please note there's a sliding scale ticket price in $5 increments*
**We have a lot of musicians to pay, so give what you can**

The "Songs for Miriam" project started one sub-zero night in 2014 when Peg saw Miriam singing at the Whammy Bar in Calais VT and thought "Why doesn't this beautiful singer have her own album yet"? Peg wrote to some of the awesome musicians that Miriam has worked with over the years and asked if they would each consider writing a song for Miriam. They all answered with a resounding "Yes"! It took a year to collect the songs, another year to raise the funding, starting with a grant from The VT Community Foundation. And then 3 years to re-imagine, record and mix these diverse and beautifully written songs.
